Ethical Planning Matrix
This Ethical Planning Matrix was designed to assist researchers and organizations to help ensure that a program or study is ethical, of maximum benefit and minimal risk of harm to the people it aims to serve, appropriate and necessary. The matrix addresses each of the standard bioethics principles and other salient principles. It is recommended that this exercise is done by the designers of the program and communities the program or study aims to serve.

CARE Tool
The Chronic and Rehabilitative Illness Tool (CARE Tool) was developed by Diode in partnership with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). It is a handheld paper workbook that combines the traditional Health Passport with elements of a Person Centered Care Approach. The Tool helps patients have ownership of their medical information, and encourages goal setting to monitor treatment progress with an interactive component for the patient and healthcare worker to work through.
